  Great range and helpful staff. Some of the newer recruits still think they work at the JB Hifi and can't tell a rectifier from a zener. A bit more training is on the cards.

  Very unimpressed with all staff at jaycar. I walked into the store to find an unused vaccum cleaner on 1 end of the store, with an extension cable run across the floor to the opposite end of the store, creating a major tripping hazard. The extension cable was 1 metre away from the front door as you walk in. Every customer needed to step over the cable as they walk in. I was in the store for 20 minutes. In this time the 2 employees standing behind the counter did not seem to think this was a problem. When I approached the counter and pointed this out to the man behind the counter with red hair and a red goatie, he said and I quote "don't trip on your way out". I proceeded to inform the employee of jaycar that an elderly person may not be able to lift their feet and could trip over the cable. The employee appeared not to care and did not rush over to clear it out of the way.
